Voter registration for General Election closes 10-19

Voter registration closes Oct. 19th at 5 p.m. for the Nov. 5th general election. If you are in doubt about whether you’re registered, check the Voter Information Portal at sdsos.gov or call 783-3201. Registration can be completed during normal business hours at the county auditor’s office, city finance office, secretary of state office and locations that provide drivers license, SNAP, TANF, WIC, military recruitment and assistance to the disabled. You may also contact the county auditor for a mail-in registration form or access a form at sdsos.gov. Anyone with disabilities may contact the county auditor for information and special assistance.
