Available Programs
Castlewood is committed to supporting business growth by offering financial tools designed to help new and expanding businesses succeed. Whether you’re starting a new venture or investing in an existing one, these programs are built to help move your project forward.
Business Grant Program
Castlewood offers grant funding to support new and transitioning businesses within the community.
- Up to $5,000 for new brick-and-mortar businesses
- Up to $2,500 for qualifying business transitions
- Funds are awarded upon opening and connection to city utilities
This program is designed to help offset startup costs and encourage long-term investment in the community.
Low-Interest Loan Program
The City of Castlewood also offers a low-interest loan program to assist with business development and expansion.
- Supports startup and growth-related expenses
- Can be used alongside other financing sources
- Flexible terms based on project needs
Each application is reviewed individually to ensure the best fit for both the business and the community.
A new business applying for assistance may only be awarded a grant or a loan, not both forms of assistance.
Additional Opportunities
Grants for historic preservation projects in the business district are available through the Gaylord Hoftiezer estate. These grants support the restoration and improvement of historic buildings in Castlewood.
